Adri Rachelle, the creator of Wild Things Sanctuary, has opened her heart and home to abandoned pets and animals of all types. The woman has cared for over 200 animals; their annual costs amount to thousands of dollars in order to maintain all of their animals healthy and happy.
Adri is completely dedicated to assisting as many abandoned animals as possible. She has a deep affection for animals and always ensures that everyone at the sanctuary is taken care of on time. To move forward each month, delighted makes several sacrifices to protect their well-being.
The amount of work you put in on a daily basis to keep all of your abandoned animals safe is simply astounding.
Not everyone would be ready to give so much of themselves, let alone with little means; all of their labor is paid for out of their own pockets, which makes their job all the more impressive.
Adri started Wild Things Sanctuary after spending years saving many creatures in distress.
Adri stated to Bored Panda:
“I realized this was not a hobby for me; it had been the story of my life since I was a youngster, and I wanted to formally pick it as the major focus of my life.”
Although there is no question that Adri’s work caring for abandoned animals is a huge struggle, she typically sees things in a very pleasant way; she never considers it a job, but rather something that is born of her nature because of the enormous love she has for each of her rescues.
Despite the fact that farm care consumes every minute of her time, seven days a week, with no right to vacation, she claims she wouldn’t change a thing and cherishes every moment she can spend with her animals.
“Animals who are injured and in danger always seem to cross my path, and knowing that I am providing a safe haven for them to recuperate gives my life a purpose, and that reward much surpasses all of the time, money, and misery that an animal sanctuary may bring.”
The sanctuary’s creator promises that getting the adoration of her animals fills her with love all day. She offers them a bit more than just basic necessities like food, water, and cleaning the area, and if it were just something mechanical, it might finish after a few hours and occupy their attention in other various chores, but for Adri, time with the animals is the most valuable.
In terms of the sanctuary’s finances, Adri promises that the upkeep charges are exorbitant.
“Right now, the operating costs of starting and having the duty of erecting permanent structures and fences, etc., are enormous.” Because we are a younger refuge, we are not yet established enough for individuals to contribute substantial sums.”
Adri detailed the fees he needs pay for food, veterinary care, and supplies to modify the farm. She is fully committed to animal rescue, even selling her truck to save a herd of cattle on their way to the slaughterhouse.
“Food bills average $1300 a month. Veterinary care varies greatly, but annually, we can usually predict around $10,000. The installation of the shrine over the past year has cost about $50,000 in materials.”
The woman describes the difference between her sanctuary and many others that exist; the difference is obvious; not being exposed to the public means that the site is missing a possible source of cash, which would of course assist a lot with the animals’ care.
Adri believes that the frequent passing of people who come to visit the animals is highly stressful for them; some are in recovery, elderly, or sick, while others are shy or have been through horrible experiences.
Adri’s relentless efforts to keep the many abandoned animals safe demonstrate that there are still people out there who want to make the world a better place for their fellow humans.
